The Faisalabad School for Peace seeks to promote peace and harmony among marginalised communities in Pakistan, by creating a neighbourhood where children of different religions come together to learn, play, and grow. It is also essential to offer quality education to girls, many of whom are denied access to schooling in Pakistan.
The school started in March 2017 with 30 Christian children in Faisalabad, Punjab. The school provides free education, including books, uniforms, and stationery, to children from disadvantaged families, such as brickmakers, low-income families, orphans, and children with disabilities.
The school is registered as a Middle School with the Government of Pakistan. There are currently 130 students enrolled. Families within the community have responded encouragingly, living in a more peaceful environment without prejudice.
