Every Home Global Concern is launching an urgent appeal to support disadvantaged children and families in Samoa through the provision of school supplies, uniforms and clothing assistance.
Across many impoverished communities, families are struggling to provide even the basic necessities needed for children to attend school with dignity and confidence. Simple items such as exercise books, pens, pencils, school bags and uniforms are often beyond the financial reach of struggling households.
Through this initiative, we are seeking to provide children with the essential resources they need to continue their education and build a brighter future.
It is estimated that:
• AUD $45–$60 can provide a child with essential school stationery and educational supplies for an entire school year.
• AUD $70–$100can help provide school uniforms, shoes and basic school clothing.
• Approximately AUD $120–$160 can fully support one disadvantaged child with both school supplies and uniforms for a year.
We are also seeking donations of good quality clothing for children and families in need. Clothing should be clean, in good wearable condition and suitable to give to a friend or relative.
These clothing donations will be personally delivered in July by youth attending the upcoming Youth Mission, who will visit and distribute the items directly to families and communities in need.
Financial contributions are urgently needed to help us meet the growing demand for assistance.
